How to use BigTable
1.

Create/Join a Table

To create a table, click the "start a new table" button, input some basic information about the dinner and your (the host's) dietary preferences, choose some boundaries for the schedule, then click "create table". This will create a new table, with a code you can share for others to join your table.

When you join a table, you will be prompted to add information about your name, dietary preferences, and your availability. Scheduling will be closed manually by the host, or it can be closed automatically if the host sets a maximum number of participants.

2.

Plan/Post Your Meal

Once the schedule is generated, it will be visible in the "schedule" tab. You will be able to see who is cooking when, and your night should be highlighted for you. If each dinner has multiple cooks, the schedule will tell you who you are cooking with.

Once you (or the group you're cooking with) has decided on a meal, post your meal info to the schedule using the "post meal info" button displayed on your night. If there's a night where you can't make it, click the "can't make it" button to remove yourself from the guest list.

3.

Download the Calendar

Once all the meals have been posted to the calendar, you can download a calendar file of the schedule to upload it to the digital calendar app of your choice.
